About Glenlake Capital Partners

Glenlake Capital Partners was founded in January, 2001 by Steve Kardel. The Glenlake Capital Partners vision is to provide the best representation possible to our clients. Glenlake Capital Partners specializes in assisting dentists, veterinarians and physicians in their search for space either to rent or purchase.

Prior to founding Glenlake Capital Partners Steve Kardel, President, was the President of the full service real estate firm Scribcor, Inc. From 1990 – 1999 Scribcor was responsible for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare’s (ENH) entire real estate portfolio. As Principal in charge of the relationship between Scribcor and ENH, Steve managed and leased three Medical Office Buildings in Evanston and Glenview totaling 160,000 sf. He also administered 30+ leases where ENH was the tenant.

Steve has owned and managed Medical Office Buildings in Glenview (86,000 square feet purchased in 1998 and sold in 2006) and Hoffman Estates (54,000 square feet purchased in 1999 and sold in 2005). He also developed an office building in the Evanston Research Park at 1880 Oak Avenue (50,000 square feet opened in 2000).

Since October of 2005 he has concentrated on the space needs of dental, veterinary and physician practitioners.

Steve has an undergraduate degree from Iowa State University and an MBA in Finance from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Steve is a Real Estate Broker with 30-plus years' experience in tenant representation, property management, and real estate development.

Glenlake Capital Partners is a Space Finder (lease or purchase) for dentists, veterinarians and physicians. We know that your medical practice presents business-specific challenges and demands that most realtors are unprepared to handle. We offer a comprehensive fact-finding and strategic process for finding the optimum facility to meet your needs. We help our clients through the critical phases of the typical lease-or-purchase transactions:
